Makey Makey

Inspiring minds to create the future…  Makey Makey is an inexpensive tech tool to add to your classroom and your home.  Great for kids and adults.

Makey Makey in a Nutshell or Banana Peel….

A simple kit composed of alligator clips, a USB Cable and the Makey Makey base... a simple kit that leads to unlimited invention possibilities.

As educators this is a huge plus… space in our classrooms is limited… anything that can become an unorganized mess and difficult to clean up tends to leave us not wanting to get it out, let alone keep it out- we never put Makey Makey away!

MaKey MaKey is an invention kit for the 21st century. Turn everyday objects into touchpads and combine them with the internet. It's a simple Invention Kit for Beginners and Experts doing art, engineering, and everything in between...

Easy Peasy... Lemon Squeezy
True Plug & Play

We strongly believe in developing students who are motivated, confident, problem solvers.  One way we encourage this is by letting students lead and be the experts.  With Makey Makey, students opened the kits and began using it before we, the teachers touched it. Second graders taught us how to use Makey Makey and they continue to inspire us daily!

In my own home (Tosha) my nine year old received Makey Makey as a Christmas gift from his grandparents. My husband and my sister's boyfriend were so engaged, I even caught them getting into Grandpa's tool kit! I have to say, my second graders had an easier time getting started. LOL

Our Makey Makey adventure is just beginning.... with students now being exposed to Makey Makey in the classroom, we are launching Makey Makey - Takey Takey. This gives students the opportunity to extend their creativity and learning in their homes. This opens the doors for opportunities that we can't provide in the classroom. The parent response on this has been extremely positive. It's impacting whole families by getting everyone in on the creating. It gives a little techie twist to family game night! Please check out our You Tube channel for student created videos of ideas and creations.
